Djing is what I do, but not who I am. At the core of my style, I'm an ambitious music fan.
My life experience exiting the military has been a rollercoaster of a learning process. Music has played an important role in my life during this transition.
A great speaker once told me, everyone we meet has something to teach us. I'm grateful my journey has opened my eyes to be able to understand these lessons and push me forward to where I am today.
My military career has opened the door to earning a degree as a first-generation college graduate. I literally fought tooth and nail to be able to have the same access to education as my peers. My wisdom teeth were taken out in the middle of bootcamp lol!
After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in communication, I decided to pursue my childhood dream job in radio. But there never really seemed to be the right alignment for this dream to come true. It's apparent to me it wasn't the right time. There was still much I needed to learn about myself.
My divine team knew exactly what they were doing in leading me down a path more suitable to the goals and aspirations that have been placed on my heart.
I'm committed to doing my part in bringing more equality to the wedding and event dj industry. I find great joy in serving the devine by providing my services to all people, specifically, clients in the LGBT+ community who deserve the same access to love and fair treatment with companies that care about all humans equally.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my blog. Whatever the reason our paths have crossed, I hope you know that LOVE is the energy that fuels my passion. Without love, my turntables would spin without a reason. In the right hands, I truly believe music can be a medicine for us ALL.
